The Monday brief form asks for an email address. It does not store that address until the list accepts it. When it does, one row is added to the Monday brief subscribers sheet: email, a blank name, source “site”, the time in Chicago, status active, confirmed no. That sheet is the only list. We do not sell the address. To leave, ask and the status is set to unsubscribed. Send the brief only to rows that are active and confirmed yes. The contribute form asks for a name and an article link. It does not keep them until the Contributors tab accepts the row. That tab is in the Monday brief workbook. It is not the mailing list. Columns are name, link, the time, and status. Status starts at received. Sending a piece does not join the Monday brief. The artist form asks for a user name, a post link, and a short note about the person and the work. It does not keep them until the Featured artists tab accepts the row. That tab is in the same workbook. It is not the mailing list. Columns are name, link, about, the time, and status. A still is not shown until it is chosen.

Until the list is open, the form says so and keeps nothing.
